FDM Example
Fused deposition modeling, which is often referred to as “FDM”, is a type of additive fabrication commonly used within engineering design. Throughout the development and manufacturing production cycle, FDM systems are invaluable every step of the way including conceptual prototyping, design verification and direct digital manufacturing.
Dinsmore and Associates has used the FDM process to produce form-fit and functional prototypes for a variety of custom applications including medical disposable parts, aerospace components, and consumer products.
